LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Lockport woman will spend the next year-and-a-half in prison for using 42 fraudulent credit cards.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Nicole Culver, 31, obtained the cards with the names of 37 true persons who live outside of NYS and then used them to make unauthorized ATM withdrawals at area banks and to make unauthorized purchases at various retail stores in the Lockport-area.
Culver was convicted along with her three co-conspirators for illegally obtained around $50,000 in cash and merchandise.
The judge also ordered Culver to pay more than $50,000 in restitution.
