WARSAW, NY (WIVB) - New York State Police arrested a woman who fled to Virginia after allegedly stealing money and a car from an elderly man in Warsaw.
Troopers say Treva Wright, 75, ran off with more than $17,000 of the victim’s money. The man has since died.
A warrant was issued for Wright's arrest last July, but she fought extradition to answer to charges in New York State. Wright lives in Roanoke, Va.
On Monday, Wright was arraigned on charges of grand larceny at the Wyoming County Court.
She was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $10,000 bail.
