AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - A domestic-related argument turned violent and ended with one person being arrested, police say.

On Saturday, Berdenia Swain of Buffalo was taken into custody after Amherst Police say she slashed her victim across the face with a knife during a fight at a home on Sundridge Drive. Swain is charged with second degree menacing and weapon possession.

The victim's injuries were not serious.
