NORTH COLLINS, N.Y. (WIVB) - Erie County Sheriff's deputies were called to a North Collins business on Tuesday to stop a woman from attacking her supervisor.
Authorities arrested Maria Girome, 29, of Gowanda on Tuesday at an Eagle Drive business around 7:30 a.m. Girome got into an argument with her supervisor during work and allegedly attacked the woman. The supervisor's eyeglasses were broken, she had a cut on her face, and she suffered a bloody nose.
Girome has been charged with third degree assault and fourth degree criminal mischief. The supervisor was treated at the scene for her injuries.
Girome was arraigned and released. She will appear in Village of North Collins Court at a later date.
