Troopers responded to a call about a possible burglary around 6:30 p.m. at a cabin on Lyman Road in the Town of Clarksville. Four suspects were found near the cabin and police say they determined the group was trying to gain entry into the building.
Three of the young men are charged with second degree attempting burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. Additionally, 19-year-old John Ames and 18-year-old Chad Colts are charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, and 22-year-old Joel Brown, Jr. is charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Ames, Colts and Brown were all taken to the Allegany County Jail on $500 bail, each. The fourth man is a 14-year-old juvenile.
