SUNY Chancellor unveils five-year plan

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - SUNY's Chancellor unveiled a road map for the state university system over the next five years.

Nancy Zimpher visited Buffalo to roll out the Power of SUNY, a strategic plan that makes SUNY a driving force behind the state's economic revitalization. The plan aims to help SUNY drive New York's economy.

Zimpher said, "It would not surprise you that we went back to our core mission, looked at our seal that says our mission of the State University of New York, learn to search and to serve."

The Power of SUNY was the result of six months of town hall meetings on SUNY campuses across New York State.
