SARDINIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - The sweet tastes of maple syrup are flowing again in Sardinia.
Erie County Executive Chris Collins was on hand to help reopen the Sugar Shack and Sawmill in the Erie County Forest. He joined children from the Charter School for Applied Technologies as they learned how to make maple syrup and get a taste of the sweet stuff themselves.
It's the first time in six years that the Sugar Shack and Sawmill have both been open. For more information about the reopening, follow this link.
