Elderly couple found dead in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of an elderly couple whose bodies were found Thursday night in their west side home.

Police spokesman Michael DeGeorge says a family member went to check on the couple just before 8:00 p.m. on 7th Street.

But when no one came to the door, the family member called police.

Officers found the victims’ bodies upon entering the house.

They had both suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Police say there were no signs of forced entry.
