AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Town of Amherst highway workers hosted a "Drive-Thru Chicken Dinner" Wednesday night to support two of their injured co-workers.

Forty-six-year-old Scott Charleson and 52-year-old Paul Mordaunt were seriously injured after falling from a platform while hanging a banner across Main Street last month. A tractor trailer struck their bucket truck, throwing both of them to the ground.

Their co-workers sold all 1,250 dinners they had available to help pay for their expenses.
