Capozzi receives $4.25 million from NYS

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - New York State is paying Anthony Capozzi $4.25 million, after he spent more than two decades in prison, for crimes he did not commit.

Anthony Capozzi spent 2/3 of his adult life in prison, convicted of two rapes he did not commit.

He was released when DNA proved it was Altemio Sanchez, not Capozzi, who raped the women.
