AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Congratulations to Elizabeth Johnson, a senior studying speech pathology at SUNY Geneseo.
News 4's Jacquie Walker was happy to hand this promising student a $5,000 scholarship Monday night to help continue her studies. The American Association of University Women raised the money through its annual used book sale and gives the scholarship in Jacquie Walker's name in recognition of her community service.
This is the fourth year they have awarded this scholarship. If you want to get a jump on applying for the scholarship next year, you can find all the details on AAUW's website.
