AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - In Amherst, someone on the ECC north campus called security after spotting a suspicious package in Lot 7 about a-hundred feet from the ECC law enforcement training academy.
The State Police bomb unit was called in to X-ray the box. But inside, they didn't find an explosive device - they found a live cat.
The cat is now in the care of the Erie County SPCA.
