CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Western New Yorkers have a chance to reach out to the people of Newtown, CT.

Tuesday and Wednesday, you can sign a giant banner and card at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga. The project is called, "To Newtown, Love Buffalo." The words of hope, sympathy and support will then be delivered to Newtown.

The card signing is on the lower level of the Galleria, right outside Sephora. If you can't make it to the Galleria, you can also send a card on your own to Sandy Hook Elementary School. The address is: 12 Dickenson Drive, Sandy Hook, CT, 06482.
