LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Although you can't tell from the outside, Zoladz Construction began setting up air monitors inside the former Bethlehem Steel Administration Building Wednesday morning.

Crews will test the air inside for a couple days in preparation to begin demolishing the one hundred year old building next Monday. The entire job is expected to take about 45 days.

Preservation activists tried unsuccessfully to stop the demolition in the courts.
