WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A trucker was cited after eight rolls of industrial paper, each weighing between 5,000- and 6,000-pounds, fell off his rig.
Robert Kelly, 54, of Loomis, CA was cited for insecure load and failing to conduct a pre-trip inspection. Police say the giant rolls of paper fell off his flatbed trailer when he took the turn from Main Street onto Transit Road around 11 a.m. on Friday.
The rolls were pushed off the road into the Mobil gas station and thankfully no one was injured. The rolls are still at the gas station as arrangements are made to pick them up.
