KENMORE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A new travel show starring a Kenmore native is set to premiere on the Oprah Winfrey Network on December 12th.

Zach Anner competed in a contest held by the former talk show host to win a TV show on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Anner, who has cerebral palsy, overcame adversity and other competitors to create "Rollin' with Zach." Zach will be traveling across the country in the first season of his half-hour travel series, bringing a humorous approach to each new place and the unexpected issues that come up along the way.

We've been following Zach's story for some time. He won the competition this past February, but before that, we asked you to help him get into the competition through the voting process. You can watch his audition tape here.

In July of 2010, while Zach was still vying to win the competition, News 4's Rich Newberg interviewed him while he was in WNY visiting family. You can watch the full video here to get a sense of what drives this inspiring young man.

"Rollin' with Zach" debuts with back-to-back episodes at 8 p.m. on December 12th. You can watch a promo video for Zach's show below:
