Man hit while walking in Orchard Park

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Orchard Park Police say a 58-year-old woman struck a 22-year-old pedestrian with her car Wednesday morning.
Authorities say the man was walking northbound on California Road just north of Ellis around 9:15 a.m. when he was hit by the female driver. Mercy Flight took the victim to ECMC, where he is listed in stable condition.
No charges have been filed against the woman, but police continue to investigate the accident and ask any witnesses to call detectives at 662-6444.
