CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - People who would rather make a phone call than make a pizza lit up the phone lines of places like Gionni Mazzia's on Main Street in Clarence on Sunday.
It was an "all hands on deck" day as workers kept busy filling orders in time for the big game.
Rob Schofiend said, "People have called ahead, which we appreciate, and they've called ahead to the degree where we need to basically have double the crew in our pizza area and fryer area and we had to just to keep up with the demand of pizza and wings."
Schofiend says some people crave their pizza and wings toward halftime of the game, instead of before kickoff.
