CLARENCE, N.Y. (AP) - The Thruway Authority says a water main break temporarily shut down the restrooms at a travel plaza among the highway's busy westbound lanes outside Buffalo.
The agency announced just after noon Thursday that there were no bathrooms available and very limited food services at the Clarence Service Area, on Interstate 90's westbound side between Exit 48A and Exit 49, east of Buffalo. Fuel was still available.
Services were restored shortly before 2 p.m.
The next travel plaza on the Thruway's westbound side is at Angola, 35 miles from the Clarence service area.
