CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - About 75 Clarence High School students are spending the night in boxes and tents to raise money and awareness for the plight of homeless people.
Last year the student council raised $24,000 for 10 local organizations that assist Buffalo's homeless. Temperatures Friday night will be in the teens and by morning, there could be a wind chill around 0 degrees.
The students will remain outdoors in the cold until 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
