WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Williamsville School District is remembering a man who gave most of his adult life to helping students and athletes.

The Board of Education held a moment of silence Tuesday night in memory of the late Dr. Jim Rusin, who Sied sunday at the age of 64. He spent 42-years with the Williamsville schools, starting as a physical education teacher before taking the job as athletic director.

District leaders tell News 4 Dr. Rusin worked to put students first throughout his career.
