WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A pair of town highway workers who fell onto the hard pavement of Main Street in Williamsville now plan to sue.

Legal claims have been filed on behalf of the workers who were flung from an elevated platform truck. The notices claim the town and village failed to provide a safe work environment for the crew.

The men were taking down a street banner last October when police say a tractor trailer clipped the platform. Both suffered serious injuries including broken bones.
