Batavia residents clean up after flood

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Severe weather struck Genesee County on Tuesday, and now residents are left cleaning up a mess in Batavia.

Kenneth Wolter blames blocked street drains for his flooded basement.

"I'd just like the city to do something about this and get going on it. They can plant flowers and put a new circle in, but they need to take care of the residents on the southside," Wolter contended.

Water with no place else to flow turned his basement stairs into a waterfall.
