ALEXANDER, N.Y. (WIVB) - Some black swans are on the loose in Genesee County.
The elegant birds belong to Kathleen Willard of the Town of Alexander, who received three of them from her husband Mark as a gift on their anniversary 10 months ago. Kathleen has recovered one of the swans, but the other two are still roaming free.
"I know that the three that have been spotted are definitely mine. As of last night I picked up one; I'm still missing two more," Kathleen said.
Swans are friendly to people, but you're advised not to approach them. The Willards would like a call at 585-591-2531 if you see them.
