Woman killed after car hits tree in Elba

ELBA, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police are investigating a fatal one-car crash in the town of Elba.
Police say 67-year-old Linda Brown of Elba was killed after her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday on North Byron Road. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still trying to determine what caused the crash, but say there were no signs that alcohol was involved.
