Kenmore Mercy gives Bolivian a new life

KENMORE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Kenmore Mercy Hospital is giving a young woman from Bolivia a new start at life.

Dr. Jeffrey Meilman and a team of doctors performed extensive plastic surgery on 23-year-old Jeanneth Paucara. She suffered disabling injuries in a fire that left her unable to lift her head or extend her arms. We're told her surgery went very well.

It was made possible by donations to the Hope for Tomorrow Foundation, which Dr. Meilman founded more than ten years ago.
