BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Western New York road is open Friday afternoon after damage
closed it for years. Here's an update to Luke Moretti's
investigation.
One segment of Tonawanda Creek Road in the Town of Clarence
was opened to traffic Friday.
It had been closed since 2004. Heavy rain washed out the road
five years ago and it took years of soil studies before Erie County
could even begin repairs.
Those repairs cost the county an estimated $3 million.
