Lake effect snow on the way

Buffalo, N.Y. - The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning for Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties beginning 4pm Sunday through 6pm Monday.

A Lake Effect Snow Advisory has been issued for Southern Erie and Wyoming Counties which also begins at 4pm Sunday and etends until 6pm Monday.

Temperatures are expected to fall into the 30's today and winds will also pick-up. Between 4 and 8 inches of snow could fall in higher elevations before the system moves out on Monday.
