11th Annual Black Film Festival

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Saturday, the Western New York Black Film Festival is celebrating 11 years of films that focus on certain issues within the African American community.

The Black Film Festival hosted by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Buffalo Alumnae Chapter along with Masten District Council member, Demone Smith. It will take place at the Market Arcade Film and Arts Centre in Buffalo.

The film presented at Saturday's festival will be "Wolf" that focuses on the issues of child molestation and mental illness. Following the showing of the film will be an interactive panel discussion and a reception. 

The film director of "Wolf", Ya’Ke Smith and actors will attend the 11th annual festival along with member of Delta Sigma Theta, Irma P. Hall, and Eugene Lee.

Tickets are $5 per show and can be purchased in advance at the Market Arcade Film and Arts Centre and at the door. Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m.
