CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y (WIVB) - Parents, family members, friends, and healthcare professionals all gathered at The 20th Annual Walk to Remember Sunday morning at the Cheektowaga Town Park.
The walk was held to pay tribute to the approximately 870,000 babies who die each year die to miscarriage, ectopic (tubal) pregnancy, stillbirth, or early infant death.
The event is an opportunity for the parents who have experienced perinatal loss, to listen to beautiful songs and poems, plant a tree, and come together with other parents to remember their beloved children.
