ELBA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Three women and an infant were involved in a serious accident in Elba on Route 98 Saturday night that left one in serious condition.
Police say a vehicle driven by Ashley Deskins, 18, with passengers Jessica Deskins, 16, of Holley and Maelee Scott (infant), was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control from the road conditions.
The vehicle struck another car driven by Gina Delelys, 41, after veering into the opposite lane.
Deskins vehicle traveled off the shoulder before coming to a rest in a field while the other vehicle came to a rest in the road.
Jessica Deskins remains at ECMC's trauma unit in serious condition.
Ashley Deskins was treated and released from ECMC and Delelys was taken to United Memorial Medical Center where she has since been released from.
The infant was taken to Children's Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this point.
