BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A shooting rampage outside a downtown Buffalo restaurant early Saturday morning has left four people dead and four others wounded.

News 4's Jericka Duncan spoke to several of the victims families and has learned that Tiffany Wilhite, 32, is among the dead and James Robbs, 27, is in serious condition at ECMC.

Raymond Wilhite, the father of victim Tiffany Wilhite, tells WIVB that the shooting started when several people tried to get inside the party at City Grill and were turned back by bouncers.

It happened about 2:30am outside the City Grill Restaurant on Main near Swan. Buffalo Police say three of the victims died at the scene, a fourth died at the hospital a short time later. Of the victims who died, Buffalo Police Spokesman Michael DeGeorge says two were males and two were females. The four victims who were wounded were all males.

News 4's Rich Newberg has learned that the Mayor will have a press conference at 2 PM about the mass shooting.

City Grill hosted a wedding reception earlier in the night. Homicide Chief of Detectives Dennis Richards says it is not known at this point if there is any connection to the shooting and anyone in the wedding party. The well-known restaurant sits in the two-hundred block of Main Street, just a block away from such landmarks as Coca-Cola Field and One HSBC Center.

Sources tell News 4 that Police made an arrest on Minnesota Avenue in connection with the shooting.
