DEPEW, N.Y. (WIVB) - Some drivers had to re-route their morning commute in Depew. Crews shutdown the westbound lanes of Walden Avenue near Transit, when a tractor trailer buckled, and cracked in half.

Depew Police Department Lt. Jason Ostrach said, “As he was coming down the road he heard a noise and the trailer just started dragging.”

The truck was hauling cardboard and police do not know how the trailer cracked. It took crews several hours to clear the scene. No one was hurt.
