Accused Hamburg detective to resign

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Hamburg Police Detective accused of leaking information to members of a motorcycle gang, will leave the police force and face charges.

Last May, Police raided the clubhouse of The Chosen Few, motorcycle gang.

Twenty members of the gang were arrested on several charges.

News 4 has confirmed that Hamburg Detective Lauire Staley-Stone has agreed to plead guilty to providing police information to members of the motorcycle gang.

Office Stanley-Stone will appear in court next week.

News 4 has learned that Staley-Stone filed retirement papers, which would entitle her to a state pension regardless of a subsequent criminal plea.
