Bankruptcy judge decides Statler's fate

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Another Queen City landmark could be going dark Monday afternoon.

The fate of the Statler Towers is in the hands of a bankruptcy judge, who will meet with a court-appointed trustee on Monday.

Business First reports that the trustee will recommend closing the building.

New Buffalo Statler Redevelopment won the auction for the towers, but failed to raise the money to close the deal.
