BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Friends, family, and community members gathered in Buffalo to help the victim of a serious accident.
26 year old Travis Braun was left partially paralyzed after a motorcycle accident on I-90 back in August.
Months later, he's still facing a long road to recovery, and hundreds of people headed to the Connecticut Street Armory to show their support.
Event organizer, Lyn Braun said, "I've heard this a million times and it's the truth, Buffalo is a giving place. If anyone doubts that, this is proof."
The event featured live music, a raffle, and an auction.
Organizers hoped to raise $30,000 for specialized equipment to help with Travis' recovery.
