BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Bills gave interim head coach Perry Fewell his first career win Sunday.
Time to play a little Monday morning quarter back, and get a pulse on what western New Yorkers are saying about the Bills big win.
An electrifying crowd showed out for a team on fire in the fourth quarter.
"You can tell there is excitement. The team has come together as a whole and hopefully they continue to do it," said Pheland Floyd, Bills fan.
"The end of the game was great. Everyone was sitting there on pins and needles. I mean it was really exciting," said Bills fan Jim Class.
Fred Jackson scored a touch down at the top of the fourth, tying the game 14-14.
Bills fans thinking, "We're still in this".
Then Ryan Lindell's 56-yard field goal, the second longest in team history, gives the Bills a 17-14 lead.
Sunday's memorable highlight, Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick throws a deep 51-yard pass to Owens for a touch down.
Owens emulates his opponents dance moves.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Donte Whitner intercepts a deflected pass, seconds later Fred Jackson scores again, for another touchdown.
Some give the new interim coach Perry Fewell the credit. It's his first NFL win as a head coach.
"We need a tough coach and hopefully this coach will work out well," said Bills fan Donna Zaccagnino.
Others are taking it one game at a time, hoping to see another dazzling performance, Thursday when the Bills take on the New York Jets in Toronto.
Media Relations officials with the Bills, tell News 4 the game will air locally.
