BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo Bills legend is teaming up with some up and coming Queen City athletes who play a different kind of football.

The Buffalo Flash of the United Soccer League's Women's league announced a partnership with Thurman Thomas Sports Training on Saturday.

The long time Bills running back owns two local training facilities, and says he's looking forward to raising the team's profile in Western New York.

Thurman Thomas expressed, "But I think we have to have the community get behind them. Because, hey, I'm here, I'm behind them, and I'm going to do whatever I can to get the word out because, like I said, it is exciting."

The Buffalo Flash will be using Thurman Thomas' facilities as they prepare for their second season.

They'll be playing this year's games at Demske Sports Complex on Canisius College's Campus.
