BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Uncle Sam could pay you to get rid of your energy wasting, old appliances.
The federal government is expected to finalize details of a rebate program.
Cash for Appliances would offer partial money back to consumers who buy energy saving refrigerators, dishwashers, air conditioners and other appliances if they replace older models.
It would be supported by $300 million from the economic stimulus.
