BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Catholic Charities officials were in Buffalo on Sunday to begin their big push for the "Drive That Never Fails".
Sunday marks the beginning of "Appeal Week 2010," the highlight of Catholic Charities' annual appeal.
Bishop Edward Kmiec hopes to raise $10 and half million dollars with this year's drive, and on Sunday, he and hundreds of others watched the total pass the $5 million mark.
Organizers said the drive is more needed this year than ever.
