BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Nostalgic folks now have a chance to own a piece of Crystal Beach.
Dr. Burt Sellers is giving up his Crystal Beach collection for auction Tuesday night at the Lodge House on Cazenovia Street in South Buffalo. Sellers had been collecting the vintage signs and memorabilia since the classic amusement park closed in 1989.
Auctioneer Stephen Phillips said, "They're gonna see midway signs. Everyone remembers pulling up with their families and seeing the midway. They're gonna see the ridgeway signs, and games that have been played."
The bidding gets underway at 6 p.m. You only need a dollar and a driver's license to enter the auction.
