BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The man Buffalo police charged with the murder of Javon Jackson
was arraigned Thursday morning. 20 year old Damario Cordelius
pleaded not guilty to murder and criminal possession of a weapon in
the second degree.
A judge set bail at one million dollars cash. Prosecutors in
court said the shooting death of Javon Jackson is unrelated to the
recent murder of Jackson's roommate Jesse Garnett.
Jackson had just graduated from UB with an electrical
engineering degree, hours before he was shot and killed.
