Chef cookoff in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - It was a battle of the chefs yesterday in a popular Buffalo restaurant.

JJ Richert of Torches beat out Joseph Fenus II of Park Country Club in the second Nickel City Chef Competition.

They squared off at the Loft Showroom in Buffalo to complete three dishes in less than an hour.

The judges say chef Richert really showcased the secret ingredient which was spar's European sausage. There are two more of these cookoffs coming up.
