Child care subsidy supporters to rally

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Happening Tuesday, a rally to try to save a program that provides child care subsidies to low income parents.

Supporters of the program are asking County Executive Chris Collins to reconsider cutting the day care stipends.

They will march Tuesday at 5 p.m. from St. Joseph Cathedral to the Rath Building.

Plans to cut the program would impact about 1,500 low income families.
