BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A North Tonawanda child has passed away, from an "influenza associated" illness. The six-year-old girl was a student at St. Amelia's in the Town of Tonawanda.
The girl passed away at Women and Children's Hospital. She passed away Monday night, becoming the first pediatric death attributed to the flu in Erie County. No other information about the child has been released.
