Chunk off bridge hits man's windshield

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A local driver dodged serious injury after a cement chunk crashed through his windshield Wednesday night.

John Cook posted this image on our News 4 Facebook page Wednesday night. Cook says he was driving along the 90 when a chunk of the Cleveland Drive bridge in Cheektowaga came crashing down.

The bridge was closed for a short time for repairs, but now it is back open.
