Crews tear down record-breaking maze

Two day event was a "mob scene"

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Warmer weekend temperatures forced the Labatt's Blue Pond hockey tournament Sunday, but still drew crowds to the winter festival downtown.

Crews have begun tearing down the 2,200 blocks of ice that formed a maze at the first annual Buffalo Powder Keg festival this weekend.

With huge lines all weekend to get into the maze or slide down the Skyway, organizers say they're ready for an even better event next year.

Organizers are not sure exactly how many people attended the two day event, describing it as a "mob scene."
