Cut taxes and reduce government waste

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has unveiled a new web site to help New Yorkers cut taxes and reduce government waste.

Cuomo said the web site is launched under a Government Reorganization and Citizen Empowerment act recently enacted at his urging.

The web site will help New Yorkers to consolidate more than 10,000 government entities that burden this state with high taxes.

"Highest property tax in the US is in the State of New York. And it is chasing people from the state. I don't have to tell you in Western New York how many stories of young people going to the airport saying I'm going to live in a different part of the country. One of the reasons is the high taxes. And the taxes have been too high for decades."
