Dunkirk murder conviction reversed

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) - An appellate court has reversed a murder conviction from the Southern Tier.
The court ruled that use of a stun-belt on Ingvue Buchanan violated his rights during trial for the 1998 strangulation of 14-year old Aiysha Barksdale in Dunkirk.
The DA plans to try Buchanan again.
