EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Business First has released their rankings of the most affluent school districts in upstate New York. The rankings, based on socioeconomic climate ratings, feature 430 school districts.
The tops school district from western New York is East Aurora at seven. The next western New York districts in the rankings are Orchard Park at 12 and Williamsville at 13.

The rankings are based on share of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunches, the percentage of students living below the federally designated poverty rate and the combined wealth ratio.
